I saw one on ebay the other day for $1300. Maybe I should just part mine out and sell it and buy another at this point.

It is a shame this is taking so long. Such an unfortunate accident to start off with - and I understand how it makes you feel - got the t shirt.

Best wishes for a more rapid response from this point further. Hopefully you will be smiling again soon.

Called the tech today and let him know that I will likely just sell off what's left within the next couple weeks and move on to another one. This just waiting for a price quote for 3 months is rediculous and terrible business. If I didn't like the instrument and history so much, I'd go elsewhere altogether.

Selling off what's left, is a pretty good idea. Then if you do go for another AC, everything is factory fresh on it. Or even if you get a new AC, You can always save the parts as back ups, either way.

Yes I did. Not really by choice, but when it was the Jazz I could get the best cash flow from, gone. It wasn't like it wasn't replaceable, at least for now. linnin is correct, Sweetwater Music has four AC Jazzes showing in their Guitar Gallery at this time.

You may want to check out the ones at Sweetwater. I know it's not the same as holding it in your hands, but at least with the Guitar Gallery, you can look them over to see if you want to order one of them. Better than totally sight unseen. The one I just picked up this morning from SA, was in stock at the local store.

One of the things I like about this bass is that it's so light. I miss that. I'll have to get another if mine doesn't pan out for sure, but I'd like to find a deal if possible. I don't mind it used if it's still in good condition.

The one I mentioned to you at SA was pristine. That one sold really fast from what I was told. The guy that bought that one thought it was new at first I think.
