I just had a ground problem that was caused by an electrical strip that wasn't grounding properly. Changed out the electrical strip, no ground sound problems through the amp.

What do you call a electrical strip ? A power bar ?

Hahaha... The case has been explained. The disturbances was caused by... bad grounding in one of effects of my bands friend - a guitarist. His hand made effect had a bad grounding, and because of it, my bass was clicking. s.

I was testing with my bass and no effects. But in the same room there are also amps of our guitarists, and their effects. I have my bass connected directly to my Laney bass amp. Only with the wire. No effects. But this bad clicks was caused by effect plugged to another (guitar) amp. Not mine. It spoiled the current in all equipment. Created a short circuit, and because of it there was all the problems.

Ok I undestand now . Thank's

Don't forget , many amp and gear in same electrical circuit may cause some trouble with ground loop ,sometimes you need to isolate / disconnect some ground .

Cell phone , PC may do some noise too.

Do some research with Google ; ground loop

Florescent lighting can be a problem also.
