That's true. Sooner or later. I guess the best thing to do is try and make the most of the time you do have.

That's about it. "When The Music's Over". "The End". Jim kind'a summed it up pretty well.

I have narrowed my collection down to two basses. The MIJ Jazz pictured here and a '06 American Precision.
I love this Jazz bass. I put CS60's pups in it and it feels and plays like a dream. It is very heavy though and I play it sitting most of the time.
Both pics are of the same bass. I have 5 pickguards for it and will change them occasionally for a different look.

Nice Jazz Bass. 8) It reminds me of a '77 Jazz that I used to have, except it came with amp style knobs, and had a black pickguard. By the way, how do you like your Eden rig? I've never had any chance to play through one, but I've heard them in various videos.

Thanks. It's a 75 Reissue. I have a black guard for it too. :)

I like the Eden gear. The cabs sound good and their amps are clean.
These cabs are 12's, D Series, weighing 35 lbs each.
The two amps are WTX500 on top and a TN226 on bottom. Both weigh about 5 lbs each.
The light weight of the cabs is a back saver for me, and the rig is versatile too. These two cabs sound good, together or not.
Eden also has a forum with knowlegable people in case you need help.
The Marshall Co owns Eden now and has for several years.
Check out their site.

Sounds good. I did at one time want to get one of their EX112 12" cabs for small gig situations, since it was cheap, and very compact, but I never did get one.

12's Are a nice speaker size. Don't get me going on 12's again.

You know, I do believe Hartke makes a 12" cab of some sort, or at least they used to. :P

Hartke still does make a 12" option for cabs, for combos. My HD210 is doing fine though.

I remember years ago, Hartke made this combo amp that had a 2 x 12" configuration, with one of the speakers in a down firing position. It was called a B120. I just happen to find a link to it from some random music shop. I know they haven't made it in quite a few years, but I though it was a cool design, and idea. I'm not sure how well 120 watts for bass would hang, unless you're in a quieter or small room situation, but it did have some sort of line out features. http://www.adirondackguitar.com/electri ... lifier.htm

That would be cool if they reintroduced this, maybe with a power upgrade, which they can do with the Class D stuff, and not a lot of extra weight to it.

I had the Hartke 410 combo. I just couldn't get the sound from it. It had the LH500 head in it.
