The nut on the input jack has come loose and I wanted to use a nut driver to fix it properly. Its a Standard Jazz bass built in '12. Does anyone know what size nut driver would work for this? I suppose I could use box wrench also but I'd have to know the size. 1/2 SAE is too big. 7/16 SAE is too small.

thanks

Is it American made bass ?

American use Switchraft jack and you need 1/2 inches socket or nut driver . I have some at home and check them ; 1/2

You have a import made jacks or your tools are low quality , size are wrong

OK... Thanks for all your replies folks.

The answer is 12mm.

The Standard Jazz bass is a Mexican made bass. The American Standard Jazz bass is an American made bass.
