Hi everybody!
I'm new on this board, I just want to show you my brand new and first ever Fender AM Standard Jazz Bass! Bought it three weeks ago and it still blows me away everyday! The neck is unbelieveable easy to play, the sound is amazing and she looks very beautiful!
Took me nearly two years to save the money for this beauty ...now
I'm really proud to call it mine! Love it!

peace and Love to everyone! :)

Congrats, you've got a beautiful bass. (Just happens that it's my favorite color, pickguard and fretboard :D )

An American Standard is on my wish list. Enjoy!

I understand. Language is Universal when describing a killer Jazz bass! I have one like yours. I don't think I'll ever sell mine also. Nice bass !!!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats! You now own one of the best electric basses every made.

It's funny, but I can share your enthusiasm. I remember my first factory ordered bass, candy cola/maple/maple. Opened the case and got a face full of varnish smell from curing. To me, that was the best day, and the coolest smell ever...even beats a new car.

Enjoy your bass. It will give you many years of pleasure! Nice looking and outstanding quality.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on the new Bass.

Sunburst with a tort pickguard has always been my favorite colors.

Sweet! If I were buying a new bass, that is exactly what I would get.
Excellent choice.

Hey thanx for all your nice comments!

I was very lucky, cause when I was at the store the shop assistant told me " sorry but we don't have the bass in 3 tone sunburst with the rosewood neck available at the moment, maybe you want it in a different finish, otherwise we have to order it and it will take about a week until we get it"

A different finish or sunburst with mapleneck was never a choice for me! No compromise!
I don't exactly know what the shop assistant did but he told me to wait a few moments...he had to check something. When he came back he told me that he has one more left ( I guess it was reserved for someone else). I was sooo happy that I was able to take my baby with me immediately and don't have to wait another week, I was waiting nearly two years for this beauty, another week would have been hell to me :twisted:First I was a little bit sceptical but the bass was in its original packaging and brand new....no signs that its a B-Stock or has already been used. So as you can see a already have a little story to tell even before I got that sexy fourstring....I guess there are a lot more storys waiting ahead for me!
