All this time, I thought Mr. Nylon was just some jokester that found a bunch of pics of a guy holding different basses, then I see him with brand new stuff. Hopefully, he still owns all the basses he's been seen with, and didn't take loss after loss in trading/selling them.

Too Funny!!! :D :D :D

I could never get it going with my Rickenbaker. I sold it. It was blue, I shouldn't have sold it.

There's a picture in my head that won't go away!

Oh yeah! Mr. Nylon, in case you were wondering why the authorities haven't shown up yet, they're out of a Federal Agency, a division of the I.R.S., so don't expect them before Monday.

They have unlimited search and seizure authority.

I tried to make this easy.

Jocularity.

Okay- Since the bass is fretless and I have been experimenting with the sound of it thru my amp--- I ran a Super Choros thru the effects loop of my Ultra Bass Behringer practice/gig amp . The fretless gets a really nice sound doing that. I have it so it's really not too noticeable (choros) and the tone is very smooth. The choros is set on a medium rotation pulse. I made sure I cut the treble back on the guitar so there's just a hint of choros. The bass gets a bit of grind and a sound that my fretted bass doesn't have-- because it has frets. .....You gotta try it.. it kills. :D

I do prefer the Tort, over the Black Pearl.

OH COOL! That's the new case Am. Std. Axes are shipping with. Some, or maybe all now in the hard-shells in place of the SKB molded. 8)
