I have a 22 fret jazz 4 string deluxe neck 1998-1999. Anybody know any Fender bodies that are compatible with this neck?

Fender doesn't sell pre-2010 Deluxe bodies, only pickguards.

That's where I'm looking now. I think this 22 fret American deluxe jazz neck will fit the American deluxe jazz bass bodies that were originally designed with the 34" scale? I think somewhere around 1995-? My neck has a serial number that places it from 1998-1999 with a stamp indicating 1999 when it was built.

Those 22-fret necks require a specific body shape to fit properly. Therefore they cannot fit a standard J-Bass body unless some major alterations in the pickup and bridge placement are needed to achieve a proper intonation.

Though both basses share the same 34''-scale length, they have a unique persona in their own.

There's an alternative option: Warmoth.
