I need some expert advice...The new MIM Geddy Lee basses are supposed to be "exact replicas", but it appears that they don't have the center screw in the pickguard as '72 era J basses and the MIJ Geddy Lee's have. I haven't seen anyone call this one out before. What gives, and why would they do this (aside from screw cost  )
Any expert advice is appreciated. Thank you.

It's easy enough to add a screw.
