Thanks Dave, what about the tug bar? (I just said tug bar instead of thumbrest because that's what brotherdave says they are, don't tell him.)

Here's something interesting, at least i thought it was, the paper template that came with the thumbrest was made to put it above the E string, so in this case it was a thumbrest.

Just wondering.....did you ever consider replacing the control plate with the Glass Black Sparkle?

Do they make them? Now that would really complete the look! Hmmmm, imagine black glass sparkle pickup and bridge covers, and black glass sparkle tuners!

I should see if Honda makes a black glass sparkle Accord, the place I bought mine has a five day return policy!

Mr. OX; One word comes to mind. Beautiful! It's almost a pity to cover up any of the style she has now. That PG is astonishing on it. It all blends so PERFECT. Road Rex Approved. Image Image

It would look sharp with a customer PG that included the control plate and eliminated the joint. The chrome covers are just going to grab that sparkle and explode the face. The chrome control plate might do that as well...tough to tell from the pictures. But the ashtray and pup cover - BOOM!

Not to disappoint anyone, it IS a thumbrest. The paper template that came with it(to show proper placement) shows it to be mounted above the E string, so, it's a thumbrest! Nah,nah, nah, nah, nah!

I tried to attach a scanned image but it didn't work. If anyone still doubts me. PM your mailing address to me and I'll send it ti you. I will add, the other two i bought had marks for the tugbar placement as well as the thumbrest position. They have to have a ton of these around as nobody seems to like them, To me, they say, FENDER BASS.

I don't know how you in visioned it, but Bebe looks great.

P.S. I'm glad you like the Nylons on Bebe. As you and I know, they aren't anywhere near as sloppy as the mid to late 60's Tapewounds were.

She came out just as I knew she would. Regarding the strings, they have perfect tension, IMO. Other flats I've tried were like steel rods and I feared for the neck.

The covers are in the near future, you dog!
