Can someone please tell me how to adjust the height of the pick-ups on my Fender Jazz 5 String Bass S/N DN915602...I recently had it set up and the guy did a wonderful job but I lost volume on the D and G strings...I noticed that they sit way lower than the B E and A strings....Any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks

There are two Phillips head screws, one on each end of the pickup. Turning one screw counter clockwise will raise that end closer to the string, turning clockwise will lower them. If you get the pickup too close to the strings the magnets will kill string sustain so it is a balance. He probably balanced them output wise for an amp set flat. When you add EQ it changes the apparent output.
