Just bought this last Saturday. It's a 2011 American Special Jazz Bass that has been in the store for about 2 years. But it's always been mine, really. :D
I guess I'll register it soon too.

Neat! I like the color combo as it is a classic look. I like white basses.

Thanks Dave! I like this color a lot, and your avatar tells me that you like white basses too. Is that your main bass that you talk about?

Played my first gig with the new bass last night. At volume this baby really shines! It's fat and bright at the same time, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It definitely has that Jazz bass growl too and cuts through the mix nicely. I'll be playing this one a lot!

Congrats on the new bass. It looks good. Best of luck with it. Image

Hey 63...what's the neck like on that beauty? I have heard they are slimmer than your average Jazz. Like 'em slim myself

Hey JBJ,
The neck is slimmer than other jazz necks, and it's really fast too. Fender specs call it a "Slim 'C' neck, 1 1/2" at the nut", and it stays slim all the way up to the higher register.
I really like the strings that are on it too. They have higher tension than what's on some new basses and I like that.
