Check out www.signmountain.com. You can order a decal in various colors and sizes. I have not done it yet but I plan to order the amalgamation symbol for the "Time Machine" bass I plan to build.

Yeah the blue bass never gets a mention........I have this months issue of Premier Guitar ....there's a fair size interview with Geddy & Alex & there's a whole page dedicated to Geddy's gear ( Alex also has a page dedicated to gear).........anyway there's no mention of the Blue Bass...& back in August I bought the issue of Bassplayer with Geddy on the cover & same thing,....... all gear mentioned except the Blue Bass....hmmm? :?

I saw them on the 28th of October in Cleveland. Geddy primarily played his "Time Machine" bass (black 72 with pearl pickguard). He played a black bass with red pickguard (far left picture above) on one song (can't remember which), the pale blue bass for three songs during the Clockwork Angels portion of the show, and then the red CS during 2112 (encore). I never saw him with the Jaco bass or some of his others. Surprisingly, Alex played maybe 4 guitars through the whole night. On the R30 tour he seemed to use a different guitar on each song.

Geddy refers to his Black '72 with new white pearl block fret board markers & white shell pick guard as his #1 Bass & the Black jazz with the Tort pick Guard is known as #2 bass
( then there's the rest of them including another '72 Jazz bass with 3 tone Sunburst finish
that Geddy found in a pawn shop.........just like how he found his #1 bass........I found this interesting & cool. The Jaco Bass was only used on the Snakes & Arrows tour for the song Malignant Narcissism.......it's still taken on tour but never used. :)

Wow! Thanks for that link, RockinBass! Very Cool Indeed. They have all the Alchemy signs under "Magic Decals". Lots of color & size options too. Most Excellent :D

If he's not using the Jaco, can I have it?

apperantly he has 2 Jaco Basses.....1x Fretted & 1 x Unfretted Distressed (both from Custom shop) These are nice basses .....Nice Necks, warm feel & tone.... with regard to my Jaco Bass I'm thinking about moving away from flats the next time I cange my strings & may try DR Sunbeams or Lo- Riders.....They're both supposed to work well on fretless basses. :)

I'll take them both. Just think what a hassle it must be to drag two basses around when you don't use them. I like Geddy, I'm very happy to do this for him!

Yeah ....poor Geddy, touring around the world with 8 or more Basses.......having to haul them out to the van after each gig....along with his amp & Keyboard set up... & at his age (59 yrs old).......it's probably getting tougher with each passing tour........Oxfan you have to do the humane thing & take some of that exess load off of Geddy's shoulders & take the Jaco Bass off of his hands.....I'm sure he'll appreciate it..... LOL. I'll back you on this too.......& being Canadian (like Rush) I have an in.....

Ordered three alchemy vinyl decals from the Sign Mountian link above. 8) I'll report back as to quality of product and ease of application.
