Quick question; as one who has owned MANY active basses in my day, I know NOT to leave a cable plugged into the output jack of my bass for extended periods when the bass is not in use.

however... if the passive toggle switch is engaged on a 2010 American Deluxe Jazz V-Series, will that disengage the battery/active EQ from the output source, thus negating any drain on the battery?

Just curious... does anybody know? :?:

I am fairly confident that this circuit does not drain battery power at all in passive mode. Even in active it doesn't pull that much of a drain either. Batteries should last in this thing for a very very long time.
