I recently bought i geddy lee jazz body made in mexico, and i'm looking for a neck. The original neck is a little too narrow for me. So i wonder if an ordinary mim precision neck would fit the pocket of this bass ? I tried with an mighty mite neck, and it did not fit.

Yes - any real Fender neck will fit it and Warmoth (spell check) and All Parts should also. The MM necks are ever so a bit bigger and if you sand them down to fit they will work but out of the bass necks I've used MM is prob the least best but they are still better than the really cheapo necks one can find. So it's Fender- Warmoth- All Parts- then Mity Mite (IMO)

So what are your plans for the 'old' Geddy Lee neck? I ask because I have been looking for a Geddy Lee neck for sale! I fell in love with that neck. IMO, and at least for finger style playing (opposed to slapping), that neck is one of the best Fender has made.
Let me know..

I agree about the Geddy neck being very good. I think he meant "neck hole size" not "neck hell size". However I have been in" neck hell" before.

Ha!
That is funny and hits close to my heart. I also have been in "neck hell" myself!

Thanks for that.
