Good for you. Pics?

Not sure I want to jump through all the hoops you have to go through in order to post an image on this forum. Why can't you just upload one from your hard drive? :? Oh well nevermind. :|

On the bright side the stock Fender Super Bass 8250M Nickel Plated Steel roundwound strings are pretty good! Pretty smooth winding for a roundround, and good tone too. I need to play these in for a week.

I'll write a full review later next week. Let me live with it for a while. Maybe some photos.

Well, I can just look at mine all day long. You don't have to post pics if it's too much of a drag.

Just photographed my new Jazz Bass. Will work on them tonight and crank up a photobucket account just for this single purpose. :)

If all goes right I will post a Left-Handed American Standard Jazz Bass Review complete with photos.

Looking forward to it. I've actually got someone coming over next week to take some good pix of my guitar / bass collection. All of my computers / iPad have my guitars as wall paper--I've got it bad because if I'm not playing them, I'm looking at them or pix of them.

That's a beauty. Looks fantastic. I believe your sunburst is a little lighter than mine--or that's just the light. Congratulations on your excellent bass.

Glad I have one, or I'd be jealous.

I'm still exploring all the tone possibilities of my amp. I figure out something new every time. I'm trying to dial up a good solid thump. I'm close.

Do you play bass in a band?

No, I'm not in a band, at least not yet. I don't want to play the same old stuff. I'd like to do some original material projects with various musicians.

One of the things I like about the Custom Shop p'ups is the amount of purcussive attack that they have. Very, very impressive. :D

I know your Rumble 350 combo is well able to pump the thump :!: Try flat treble: bass boosted to the second line ( about 5 or 6 db) set your mids to about 400 hz and give it the same amount of boost as the bass. You'll find plenty of bass bump in that area without boominess. Run your volume on at least 3. I use this same set up on my Rumble 75 and I pumped up the volume to 5, and great gobs of Fenderific Tone Bliss was to be had by the train load. In all quite an earful.
