Keep your thumb slightly over where the neck and body meet. get your other three fingers in a bent' popping fasion. Give your thumb about 1" to 1.5" of room, but in this room slap as hard as possible connecting the string slap with the boney nuckle portion on the side of thumb. Then try to create some connections between popping G and D while double slapping E! Buy Hal leonards funk technique book its all slap! Enjoy.
