Thanks for the recent replies... I did find out what pickups are in the Geddy Lee model, and I scored a pair for the Antigua. Between the pickup upgrade and the bridge/pickup covers I added, that has become my favorite bass of the two. I actually need to take the Geddy in for a setup, I was screwing around with it and got it all out of whack, now I can't seem to get it set back to where it was when I got it. :? I think I have the bridge pickup set too low now, because the bass sounded very low output and hollow the other day, where the Antigua sounded fine, like the Geddy used to. The neck could use a pro's touch too, so I think I'm just going to drop the coin and have the local tech take care of it, probably both of them for that matter.

So yeah, I now have a set of mexican standard Jazz Bass pickups I don't need, if anybody needs a set... LOL!

Fender USA Vintage Jazz Bass pickups. Also known as "Original Jazz Bass" pickups, according to the packaging. I scored a set on fleabay for a decent price, and they sound great in the Antigua.

The Geddy Lee Jazz Bass comes stock with a pair of single coil vintage Jazz pick ups, :)

True, but only on the regular Artist models.

Geddy's Custom Shop basses sport overwound J pickups.
