That's a beautiful Jazz Bass. The bridge pickup should be pretty close to the strings if it is to balance with the neck pickup.

I would recommend that you not use Rotosound strings on this bass or any vintage bass. Rotosounds will eat your frets faster that you can say Geddy Lee! lol.

I mean it. I own a '70 Jazz and it still has its original frets because I avoided Rotosounds.

That case can't be original can it? It looks brand new!
