Hi all,

first time in this forum first Fender product!
Why my Vintage 75 JB has volume pot, balance pot and tone pot? In the site features description and on the wiring diagram I found on Fender site it seems to I should have found two separate volume pots and a tone pot.
My serial is : Z8132422.
Thanks
fabio

The Fender American Vintage 75 Jazz Bass spec sheet does specify a Volume/Volume/Tone control arrangement as is also the case with every other passive Jazz Bass Fender ever made.

I have never seen a stock passive American, Mexican or Japanese Fender Jazz that came otherwise.

If you bought this thing new it is messed up. If you bought it used it has been modified.

Leo Fender settled on the V/V/T setup as it loads down the pickups less than a pan pot and thus is louder. This is a very inconvenient truth, so some people modify their Jazz Basses to a Volume/Pan/Tone setup but sacrifice some volume. I'm guessing yours has been modified since it is a 2008 model and you are just posting this concern.

Finally i took my bass to the shop to be setted and controlled.
They recognize the problem: the lutis says he never saw a similar thing.
They took a new bass and exchange the whole electronic components into my bass.
Now it plays regular.
They are now trying to understand how that situation appened.
