So my life long dream came true today.I started my fender collection. And my first piece is a fender standard v jazz bass.I really love the neck. This is my second post ever on the forum. So how does everyone else set up to play silent with headphones.I was thinking of buying the ampeg ba 108 and running my laptop through the amp to play along with lessons and songs. Also can plug my headphones in a be silent i hope?So is this how its done?Anybody do it different than this?Any help would be great.Just starting out and need some advice.

Welcome to the Forums. Congrats on your new bass!

the BA 108 will do exactly what you want it to do.

I use the Fender Bronco 40, small yet mighty amp.

The combination of amp and software is perhaps what your looking for :)
