Hey Raginrog;
No, I haven't. I like the D'Addario ETB92 Nylons, and have used them for some time now. I have never had to do any bridge adjustments with them. The string gauge size is a good fit on the nut. The factory Fender strings, USA Bass 7250M, NPS (.045-.105 Gauges) are, (.45, .65, .85, .105) The ETB92 Nylons only have the G string that is .50. The E, A, and D are identical in size. Close enough to be a perfect fit to the bone nut's cut in the Am. Dlx. I like the sound, and the feel from the D'Addario. Their customer service is great also.

Thanks for the input. I may have to give them a try at some point. I ordered the Fender 9120 because they were much cheaper and didn't want to spend that much on a string I may not have liked. I ended up putting them on a P bass and really am pleased. The tension is surprisingly light, very much like that of the TI flats I put on the carvin Ac40.

I like the sound from the ETB92 Nylons, but I really like not having to do any adjustments with the string sizes being so average sized.

Congrats...nice looking fretless. I see you now have a couple of Fenders....believe it or not I traded my p bass and some cash for a 2012 Ric 4003. It doesn't stand a chance against my Select Jazz but went for a change in tone.

Thanks "Raginrog". Your select Jazz looks amazing, and must play like a dream. I like my Am. Std. Precision. It complements the Fretless Jazz pretty well. I'm also a sap for Fenders in Olympic White, with a Maple board, and a White PG. :roll:

okay MR NYLON- I just can not get enough pics of your basses- we need to see more. You are not disrupting enough air traffic control with the small amount of bandwidth being used.We need to be up in the 100,000,000,000 megafusion pixel band.

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: NOT !!!!! sorry just messin' with ya'........I'm just jealous I can't post pics. :(
