Nice collection! Welcome to the Forums. You got the 1st welcome from our in house guru there - brotherdave. He's the man with all sorts of knowledge when it comes to the Fender bass (or any other bass related stuff). Some of us are able to answer, if not, brotherdave should.

No pix, no basses ;)

Thanks to all the folks here, for being so down to earth.
Been playing bass since 1967 First Bass was a HAGSTROM with the Plastic bolt on face. It was given to me as a real junk bass and I fixed it up, re-painted it and varnished the neck it looked awesome, so the guy took it back from me.
We played Blues like, Paul Butterfield , John Mayall, Johnnie Winter and Albert King......................
I then saved my money and bought a 1969 Gibson EB-3 thought I was Jack Bruce and or Cassidy even tough he played an EB-2. loved Hot tune and Jefferson airplane licks on the bass. One of my most influencial bass players was HARVEY BROOKS from SUPER SESSION also played with ELECTRIC FLAG.

Now I am an old player, who really enjoys a second childhood with fine instruments. I especially have some different models I love to bring out once and take them for a walk .

2001 CARVIN Neck Through Five String
2007 WARWICK Corvette Double Buck $$ German Made Awesome beauty bass
1996 G&L Legacy Stratocaster Blue Burst Wow
1988 G&L ASAT Telcecaster I just finished building Very strong Player

THANKS TO ALL FOR SUCH A WARM WELCOME

My brother's first bass was a Hagstrom......

Image

Shown "back in the day" playing through a '68 Dual Showman.

He has a '66 Precision that I gave him back in '72 plus a couple of Jazz Basses (one a '66 clone, the other a Geddy Lee).

Welcome to the forum, Ted.

Indeed!

Tom went from that Dual Showman to a Sunn 2000S. That led him to a life-long affiliation with Sunn, and later Acoustic. He has two or three 370's now plus several Sunn Coliseums and a Model T.
