I hear that when I'm hearin', seein' me see me. But there is some of what there was somewhere.
I think the Yoders will make it big. At least I have band practice tomorrow with the Barn Crows.

I just put an Am. Std. Precision neck on my '08 Am. Std. Jazz. I prefer P necks and this was the closest I was ever going to get without having to order one from the Custom Shop!

I've done this before...it may have just been a mind game, but I almost thought my jazz sounded a little meatier afterwards.

I say again, you guys who are putting P necks on J basses need to give me your leftovers. I'd love a P with a J neck, especially if it was a '57 P reissue. I'm particularly fond of the 1950's Tele style P basses and playing one with a nice slim J neck would be heaven. The Tele style body and pickguard is a work of art.

ha...nah, but my punk band has a song called Deadlights that is about the movie. During part of the chorus the back up vocals are "beep beep."

I have a P-bass with a jazz neck and would like to put a Geddy Lee jazz neck on it. Do you know if it is possible to purchase a Geddy neck?

I bought a 2008 American Std Jazz Fretless last November. Mint condition $900. $Cdn
I installed a Precision bridge cover, because I think that Jazz cover is too big & looks awkward.
The jazz bass is voiced a little higher than the P-Bass and I like to hear the fundamental, so I has an `S-1`switch installed to series the pickups. (They stopped installing them in 2008).
I installed Fender black tapewounds and MAN HOW I LOVE THAT SOUND !!! If you haven`t tried tapewounds on your fretless, I suggest that you give them a try.

I have...but it's been awhile.

I've been wanting to read that one again. Been awhile...read it when I was about 17...I'm 40 now. Listening to the band Anthrax got me into reading Stephen King back in the day.

I've always found the second and third readings of his books are better.

I've never read a book twice, but I think after 23 years...it might not be so bad.

I recycle books all the time, usually until I hit the used book store for more.
