UPS dropped off my Standard Jazz Bass Today! Woo Hoo! Good bass for the $$$. However, it has some issues. First of all, why do they insist on putting on telephone poles for strings and the nut is way too high. I'll probably just have my tech replace it with a bone one. Also, the metal inserts that go in the tuning peg holes will pop out. I hope this can be fixed easily. Leo Quan bridge should be here tomorrow. I'll give my tech the heads up when it does. I'm going to have EMG's installed along with some light gauge Rotos and I should be good to go!

I found the gauge of string to be a bit on the heavy side.

I thought most of the new basses from Fender comes with .45 - .100 strings. I've always thought they were under strung from the factory and always replaced the string with heavier gauge strings.
