I luv sunburst too. I actually have a 60s reissue that looks exactly like yours except for the extras. I'm seriously thinking about adding the ashtrays to mine. So I have to ask you, do they change anything in your mechanics with your right hand?

For the way I play, no. Most players I know don't care for them. I labored over the decision to drill the necessary holes, so, I used velcro to attach them to the body. Cut the pieces to conform to the shape. It worked out well. When you decide to take it off, it won't leave any marks on the pickguard or the finish.
