Hi to all of you out there!

Need some help regarding my Fender Jazz Bass I became from an old friend of mine. Everything on the bass is original, including strap, plates, case, the two tubes included, even the strings are original from the sixties, put few days ago ..

Since I'm a guitar player I would like to sell the bass & would like to know how much is it worth. Thank you!!

Here are some pics:

I quit clicking on http's sorry. Take the bass to a repair guy and have them look at the neck. If it has the same strings on it from the 60's and if it has been in a case without the stings loosened for that long-- you need to have the bass looked over. A 69 could be worth 2000 or more.

Yes it is a 69 Jazz. Candy Apple Red, which was a custom color option for extra. Truthfully, it is not exactly "almost mint." It is in very good original condition as far as I can tell but not quite excellent.

Where I live in the southeastern USA, this instrument might appraise for as much as $5,000 USD. However in an actual sale it would bring significantly less. I'd expect in a private sale it would bring at least $2,800 to as much as $3,500 as is. The case is in pretty good shape which adds to the value. The ACE strap alone is easily worth at least $100 as there are actually many people who collect these vintage straps and I've seen 60's ACE straps sell for up to $300 each in MINT condition. The tubes were not included with the instrument and I'd sell those individually.

I'm counting everything including the tubes in my estimate. For maximum value I'd sell the bass and case together but sell the tubes and the strap separately.
