Anybody knows who sells replacement pickguards for the new Jazz Deluxe bass? I've heard that the previous Deluxes have different pickguards.
Thanks all.

True. The older Deluxes employed a sleek "dinky" body styling and a different pickguard design. Both measures were intended to accommodate a 22-fret neck. Fender stopped using the "dinky" style and went to a more traditional look and feel as of 2010.

There are famous pickguard makers such as WD and Pickguardian who make high-quality replacement stuff. I'm sure they also can make pickguards for the new US Deluxe basses. You must send a picture of the original pickguard first.

Thanks, chromeface. I know about these companies. They do make good replacement pickguards - at a price. I paid $100 for a Gibson ES330 pickguard without any hardware, and that was 15 years ago.
I was thinking about aftermarket replacements that go for between $25-$50.

Contact Fender Consumer Relations, ask for the part number for that guard and then order one through a Fender dealer or service center. The parts list for the latest model is not posted on the support page so far as I can tell.
