Hey Folks...was wondering if anyone had some info regarding the possibility of my 2005 ADJB having a swamp ash as opposed to a regular ash body. The bass is, according to the numbers, supposed to be ash. However, the bass is conspicuously light for a regular ash body. Is it possible that some swamp ash bodies snuck through?

Blessings...Steve

Your bass uses a premium ash body.

It's not possible to change the specs of the current US Deluxe series unless Fender starts offering the older 22-fret design in the form of a Factory Special Run. They discontinued the smaller size bodies in late 2009.
