Yeah, she can style.

No, to the nitro.it's a 2010 Made in Mexico Standard Jazz. When I got it, it had been worked on, professional set up, bone nut, Precision type, not Fender, volume and tone knobs. When i swapped out the pickguard I wanted to see what kind of pickups were on it. There was something on the bottoms but I didn't want to unscrew them, they don't sound like stock.

This bass has a history but I'll probably never know where it came from, or exactly what was done.

All I do know for sure, I'm happy with it.

Just for the record, you have lost it! We've all lost it!

Don't fight it Rev, if your inner clown is trying to get out, let it! It could be painful!

Dude, I realized that when I played bass in a circus band. Those clowns don't screw around. I have seen clowns doing yoga. Chuck U. Farley at your service.

Hard to believe we search far and wide and all points in between to find the chrome covers that back when people paid them no mind, or were used as ashtrays or simply thrown around and got lost or simply just threw them away,Now they are one of the most prized visual up-grades aside from a nicer pickgaurd.
They are the "new look"even though they no-longer have anything to do with sound, now they are for looks only or just to say"hey everyone look what I have, which I am myself famous and who would still be using them if I had the cash to spend,I do have a bridge cover on my p-bass which I do to every one I own,but never on a jazzbass that needs no help in the weight dept,And for no practical use(no longer come with the foam "mute) I cannot justify adding more weight to an already boat anchor of a bass.

Everybody has their own ideas and preferences. Whatever floats your boat. I have always likes bridge and pickup covers, of course I took them off on my old basses back in the day , just like everybody else.

Every time I see bridge and pickup covers I just imagine how hard it must be to play around it without slicing the crap out of your hand (ok more with the pickup cover than bridge cover). Plus I can achieve the muted effect with the edge of my hand.
