I just recently got a Fender Steve Bailey Jazz Bass delivered about a month ago. I love the sound and how it plays. It came from the factory strung through the body. I was wondering about what strings I can use to do the same when it is time to replace them.

I was thinking about either the DR Long Necks or Fordera Anthony Jackson's (I'm a huge AJ fan). I just wasn't sure about taperwound's and less mass going through the body.

Any string designed for a standard 34in length bass should fit no prob, some with the thread windings may overlap so you may need to snip a bit,If your unsure bring the old strings with you to purchase new ones or go with the ones without the thread wrapping.
I personally dont like my Jazzbasses to be strung through the body due to increased tension on the neck(longer string=more tension on neck)if I MUST I go through the body I go a bit lighter like w/40-60-80-100 gauge set,On my p-bass which has a thicker neck I go heavier and through the body but I really dont like the increased string tension,it makes it harder to play especially with flatwounds on it,I can hunt deer with them strings on a bass no problem.
But you cant go wrong with bringing the strings or the bass w/you.
