Does anyone know where I can get a true fender replacement Marcus Miller style neck? I need one for a Deluxe active j-bass. I want a maple neck and this fits. I want to keep my bass a true fender and I cannot find one anywhere, and ideas?

WHy bother? All the bodies and necks at Parts Resource are from AllParts.

If you want a real Fender neck, go to eBay or talk to your local guitar repairman to see if he's got one. Fender doesn't sell necks and bodies separately anymore.

I don't think the Custom Shop sells parts, either.

Money can probably get you just about anything you want in a guitar. heck, you could probably have one made out of gold if you wanted :)

Yes they would.. keep in mind, the Warmoth steel bars.. all my Warmoth necks with tuners weigh 3.2-3.6 lbs. Not talking about neck dive, just added weight to the bass. My Fender necks with tuners weigh in at about 2.6 lb. something to think about in regards to the weight of your bass already. Peace, John
