Hello,

I am trying to adjust my saddle height on my Geddy Lee Jazz and haven't been able to find a wrench that is the right size. I've been to 4 hardware stores and a guitar store who haven't had the right size.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

It didn't come with it when you bought it? I know people have had issues, plus Leo Quan's site is dead. Brotherdave was able to adjust it I think. Ck with him. Find a thread with his signature, follow the link.

If you bought it new, it should have came with a gig bag and 2 Allen wrenches, the small one for your bridge and the larger one for the truss rod adjustment. A lot of the stores don't even say anything or provide these when the do the transaction, and it ticks me off. I think some people don't even get the case unless they ask for it??? Ask for it??? It comes with the MIA, but the stores don't give it to you. Guess what, the next guy gets a great sale price on these cases that supposed to be for the person that bought the MIA basses...sorry, had to vent.

Right on the size of allen wrench, you're going to have a tough time finding one. If you have a Lowe's near you they have a combination set that has one in it. I know Brother Dave know"s where to order one.

Did you buy it at Guitar Center? The ones by me always throw away the allen wrenches.

Maybe a Sears store or an auto parts.

I have a tool called a "Roadie Wrench" there are various ones with various names that are all about the same thing. It is a big handle with various size allen wrenches and a couple of screwdrivers with a string cutter on it that has standard sizes for almost every brand guitar out there. I got mine at my local music store.

Hey Rev,

Just went looking, seems they don't make it any more and none were available. There are a lot of other options out there, all kinds of prices. Trouble is, they don't list the sizes of allen wrenches. Be a shame to buy something and have it not work. I know I had a terrible time looking for a friend, never did find one.

I discovered I had one in a combination set I bought at Lowe's a long time ago. I'd rather have individual ones, kind of bulky.

I bought a combo Allen wrench set at a Home Depot a short time ago. Chesco brand. It has the .050 in it.
