So a tuning peg broke off my Fender Squire Jazz bass and I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix this without buying a new machine? The machine is perfectly fine, the peg just snapped off.

Hmmm. Well the only thing I can think of is get someone to weld it for you. Haven't heard of any other way of fixing something like that without completely replacing it.

I'm wondering.......... just how did that tuning peg break???? hmmmmm......... it wouldn't have been from slight overexcertion of the person at the wheel would it??

Don't be such a hamster-- go buy a tuner. Sorry I really do not think you are a hamster it's just a saying we use here in the counrtry.

Well they are an assembly so the peg and worm gear should be replaceable but I bet it is more work to do that than to just buy and install a new tuner assembly.
