You mentioned your roots before, any oriental food is good for me.

Hhhhmmmmm, seems there is something else bass players have in common.

I wonder if Zod likes spam?

I like it...I've been getting more into the "classic" looks, like the block inlays - black or pearl, the sunburst, etc. Maybe I'm either getting older or just more appreciative to the older/oldskool look. :|

That is a beauty for sure. I've always liked sunburst, rosewood, tortiseshell. That's what my first Precision and Jazz wer way back when. Rez, for me and a couple others here, we lived retro, :)

Counting the days until I have both of my beauties done!

Very nice, in my last post i talked about rosewood, not to say that the maple isn't beautiful, it is. Awesome looking bass.

I'm not running any more pools, I'm just betting a straight line, I've made a lot more that way, matter of fact, I'm taking the month off and going to Disneyland! Thanks Glenn!

Today's "Question of the day"

How many bass guitars has fjbass bought, sold or traded in the past two months.

Today's "Other question of the day?"

Will it ever end?

Hey Rev,

Doing more lurking than posting. I'm working 7 days a week. The last bit of GAS I got cost me damn near $2,250 and I haven't even seen the new bass yet. You know same old same old.

By the way speaking of sunburst axes I read once that Hendrix used to play black or white Strats live because they showed up better but preferred Sunbursts in the studio because he believed they sounded better. I think it has to do with the thickness of the paint and laquer.

Stay Brown,
Rev J

I did that seven day a week thing, no good, no good at all. Sorry you haven't gotten your bass yet.

Interesting bit about Hendrix, that was the first time I've heard that.

Get some rest.

They know the glassy eyed look and as soon as they see the drool, they go for the kill.

It's truly impressive that the elegant photo of that beautiful Jazz stopped the onset of a new pool in its tracks.......

Or........Ox is having so much fun with his new pups that the new pool has been placed way on the back burner :? ?

The picture had nothing to do with it, I had to place all the names on the squares in the order received, you do realize I 'm getting wordwide participation now.

And you know I'm having a blast with my "new" bass.
