Wait, what happened to the Roger Waters bass?

If I worked at the Sam Ash you go to, I would run when I see you walk in the door.

I liked the white/maple best btw. JMO

You did what? I can't agree wit Zod, they must freaking love you. We know what's happened over the last couple of months, just go back say, six months. Give us the numbers.

1. How many times have you been married?

2. How long do you keep a car?

3. You don't have pets, do you?

4. How many times have you moved in the past six months?

5. How many pairs of shoes do you own?

6. What's going to go next? The bass or the amp?

So what you're saying is, you just got caught up in the spirit of the thing and got carried away. O.K., I'll give you that. If it doesn't bleed into the other areas of yoy life, you should be O.K.

Someone who's name I won't mention, is giving 8 to 3 that the bass goes first.

There are squares available for three pools.

Just messin' with you fjbass.

It's all about what you want. I'm not you and you're not me. 3CS/rosewood is such a classic combo.
But I did like the white/maple better.

Congrats. Again.

You probably will trade the amp in first.

I never knew that about Charley!

I've been known to change basses quite often. I guess I was never satisfied. Last year I inherited some $$. Being 50 my house is paid off & we have enough stowed away to pay for my son's college. So my wife & I went out & bought some things we wanted. We split the $$. I went out & bought a 1966 P Bass & a 1969 Jazz bass. I never thought they would play better just figured it would be cool to have the old basses because I could afford it but these 2 basses play better than any of the newer ones I've ever had! I will not be selling to trading these basses away. So I guess all you vintage fans are onto something. By the way FJ ditch the picture with each post. It takes up bandwidth & if there are no photos makes it easier to get away posting at work!

I you guys think I'm certifiable, but I got things back in order finally. Ox can't wait to drop the hammer on me. I was able to obtain the Am. Std. Jazz, named Electric Lady. I'll post pics as soon as I can. One less hour this weekend. Start of Day Light Saving Time. TONIGHT!

Very nice Bass.

I've been a bit of a Bass swapper/collector. When I do things I jump in with both feet big time.

I used to play a bit of guitar but but in 2008 my BIL asked me to play Bass for his amateur band. He had a crappy Bass that he loaned me and it wasn't long before I went out and bought my first Bass. A brand new Geddy Lee J-Bass. I love this one and it is still my favorite. I bought a 115 combo amp used on eBay. But I didn't like it that much. I can't remember the exact order of everything now but since then I added;

Deluxe J-Bass V
Aerodyne P-Bass
American Standard P-Bass
Epiphone (are we allowed to say that here?) 4 string acoustic Bass for quiet practice.
Ampeg SVT6 Pro head
2 x Mesa Engineering 410's Cabs
GK Backline 600 head
SWR Working Man 210 Cab
and I just bought a Rickenbacker Bass too. Now I need to unload a few to make room and stay married.

I also still have my 96 or 97 Japanese Strat. It plays awesome but the pick-ups, pots and switches were pretty bad so I upgraded them and it absouletly screams. The action on this guitar is better than any I have ever played. I also have a 1974 Gibson SG Custom and a Garrard 6 string acoustic in the collection.

Thanks fjbass. Glad to be here.

And my brain wasn't working. My acoustic is not a Garrard (not sure where I pulled that name from) it's a Garrison. Canadian company that was since bought out by Gibson.

I'm trying to think of the name. Drawing a big blank on it right now. I sold it as soon as I had the replacement. It was OK and it made lots of sound but I wanted more presence. I think it was a German name. I briefly had a 410 cab of the same make but it was not good. Blew drivers like crazy. I didn't do enough research on that particular cab because I later learned that they had very poor reviews.
