Hi,

I had some serious buzzing, wich came out of the neck for shure. I have the bass setted up by myself, so i didn't know what was going on, the thing just kept buzzing as loud as HELL. So here is your solution:

If you experience buzzing from the neck:

1. Check headstock for loose hardware
2. Check neckplate for loose screws
3. Check saddle for loose saddle springs wich may rattle
4. Take a look at the string tree, if its tight enough

And if that doesn't help, mount the neck off, and slap it a few times to hear if there is something loose in there. If there is, then:

1. Take a look at the neck curvature. If it's too concave or convex check the Owners Manual for adjusting it. The truss rod maybe just resonating in its chamber against the wood.

I have tightend the truss rod about a 1/4 turn (clockwise). That solved the buzzing. All i had to do is snuggle the truss rod nut up - since no one done it at Corona for me.

Btw. this happened with a $2000,- 2010 USA Deluxe Jazz.

If the springs on the saddle intonation screws are not tight up against the back of the saddle and the bridge they will buzz like hell. It sounds sometimes like it's coming from the neck.

i totally agree with you. i had a cheaper Harley Benton MB22-2T jazz bass copy some time ago, and it had this serios crew buzzing, but this Fender has the new HMV bridge, and that problem is solved with it.
