Hi guys, I have a sweet deal on a Fender MIM Jass bass, unfortunately it is left handed and I'm not! It is such a good deal that I am thinking about buying it and converting it to right handed by changing the nut and the bridge. Can anyone tell me why that wouldn't work?

Well, it would work, but... the control layout and input jack would be a real PITA, as far as I can see.... not to mention the (probably) weird balance with a strap...

Seriously? I'd wait for the next one. I don't think it would be worth the trouble even if you could get it for 50 bucks.

I would not. The controls will be in your way and the balance of the bass will be all out of wack.
