I'm hoping that Guitar Center has them, I plan on going on Saturday. I just called and they have two in Olympic white. The guy I talked to said comparing it to an American Standard, it's hard to tell the difference and they've been selling fast.

This is not good. I want a Candy Apple Red with a maple neck. I like whit basses with rosewood.

OMG!!! GAS!!!

This is all your fault, don't give me that "buddy" stuff while you're laughing your #@&* off at me!

If it weren't for Thor and Electra I'd just be satisfied with my two plain old natural finished basses.

Curse you fjbass!!! :P :P :P

I'm glad you're enjoying your new amp, doesn't matter. you'll be trading it in before the new one arrives anyway.

Whose man are you cracking up? Better be careful, your wife likes to play with needles.

Pittsburgh yesterday wasn't for bass shopping, had some business to attend to. Today is the day for Guitar Center and hanging with my daughter and son-in-law.

Hit or miss tho, I played 3 dif't ones, only 1 was set up so-so. The other 2 I wouldn't buy if I were buying, with out the shop doing a set up on it first.

I took my Jazz off the wall, gave it the heavy look over. Plugged it in and it was set. The folks that put this one together must have just gotten a pay raise or were just doing their job right. The set is right on. I even like the height of the strings for my playing. Gotta' get lucky sometimes. I do believe over all, Fender does turn out quality axes. Be interesting to see where the Am. Spl. Series goes.

That's luck right there, someone's gotta have it every now and then, right 8)
I usually enter the 'set up the bass' when ready to write it up right after 'ok, let's do it!' bit :) Most of the time they get lost cuz people don't ask that, so they agree.
