May I ask a question about the Fender Jazz Bass String Size?
why the USA Standard is different from the Standard?

USA Standard: Fender® USA Super Bass 8250M, NPS, (.045, .065, .085, .110TW Gauges)
Stanard: Fender® USA Super Bass 7250ML, NPS, (.045, .065, .080, .100 Gauges)

If I use a Road Worn jazz bass, is it better to change to the original one?

The pickups in the US Standard (presumably US-made) may be optimized for the heavier E and A string.

It's unlucky that there is always no stocks for Am Standard in HONG KONG......I wait for nearly half year, and it have the Jazz Bass in Black only...
That's why I bought a Road Worn.!

I've used .110 gauge before on my '87 and even on my Squier, not a single issue. If you like the heavy gauge - I used to - then dive in. I like .105 even .100 now. With Standard D tuning (not drop D) and 34" scale, it's tough not to get a buzz using such a heavy gauge for me.
