I will not have it actual in my hands until Wed, but I know this about it. It is completely stock except for........the frets were replaced by Geoff Benge of Chicago Guitar Repair, the bridge pickup needed be re-wound and was done by J. M. Rolph Pickups and Rewinding Service also in Chicago, and the Vol pots were replaced at some point. This bass also has seen a hell of allot more action than my other '72 which is in pristine condition. Here are the photos from the seller:

Dont get much better than that(except a maple necked jazz bass complete with black binding in 3 tone s/burst)but WHO'S complaining. :mrgreen:

OH MAN-- 8.9 lbs?? Nice!!-- your tone pot is stock. It has the same cap as mine.

My Jazz had Dimarzios(70's) in it when I got it. It has my best sounding set of antiquities in it now. In the pic of the pots you can see the Dimarzio wires.

Nice bass and I bet you can't wait to get it. I love the real relic patina. I should have never refinned my 74 P bass. It was a sunburst. We re-did it in 79. It wasn't such a big deal to repaint a guitar back then.
