It looks more new in the photo than in person. She has her share of bumps and dings, but nothing major. Seems the headstock took most of the dings!

That was an amazing buy. I had a '72. You do need the finger rest and pickup and bridge covers. Good luck with it!

In the pics that bass almost looks too new. Is it a refin? It's hard to tell from pics.

It is a old refin. The bass started it's life as Lake Placid Blue, then stripped to natural. Than it was refinished back to Lake Placid Blue using the same DuPont paint that Fender used. It was refinished probably 15-20 years ago.

The bass was well cared for over the years. There is hardly any tarnishing on the hardware and the fretboard is in great shape. I did happen to talk to the past two owners of it....which they gave me the history.

I can tell the bass is in the mix! Sounds good. I like how the guitar player is searching and looking for that one tone he's not getting!! All the while it sounds great. Ha! I am glad I don't play guitar in a band. The things those guys go thru! They can't lay back like us bass players and just let it rip. Bless their souls!!!
