Do these have the graphite-reinforced necks like the MIA 'P' basses, or just the graphite truss rods?

The Fender website details would suggest that the necks are just maple, unlike the 'P's.

If they don't have the graphite-reinforced necks, might I have problems with the necks using heavy tension flats, such as La Bella F/S and/or F/M?

Thanks everyone.

Most Fender bass necks are reinforced with Posiflex Graphite Neck Support Rods.

I thought the 2008-on am stndrd jazz had the same specs as the P bass w/ both reinfoced necks and the graphite posiflex rods. but the fender specs don't show it for the jbass. actually most models do not have the posiflex rods.

bump.....does anyone know if the Am Standard and Am Deluxe jazz bass have the graphite reinforced maple neck material AND the posiflex graphite truss rods. I also thought the Highway Ones had the same neck material and truss rods as American Standards.

The Posiflex truss-rod system was introduced in 1995.

All American-made basses made prior to that date came with the BiFlex rods.
