I have a maple fretboard 1992 jazz bass plus with lace sensors and I was looking to replace the pickups. I was thinking of replacing them with the 60's jazz bass pickups for more output in passive mode which I usually use. Will they fit? What would be the best pickups to use?

You should be able to. I think the size are the same or very close to it. You don't like the Lace Sensors or them now? I use to think they were the isht back in the day. I even wished that my '87 had them. They were up there (to me) with the P Lyte as far as Fender basses I'd like to own someday. Good luck with the swap!!
