i bought a fender mexico j-bass last february.. .. i got this serial no. MZ8083494 and i'm not sure if it's genuine or not.. i need your advice... sorry for the pictures...

IMO looks like a normal 2008 MIM Jazz bass.

there are a lot of fender replicas right now that are mostly made in mexico... and i just want to make sure...

I've seen a fake Fender before... it was sort of like having a badge "Made in USA" but surely the wood finish looks like painted enamel (laughs) and it looked to me like a passive P/J bass.. and i think the neck was unfinished..
