They are hard to find. However, Forum Member: alturner has a beautiful new 2010 5-string he's selling. If I were you, I'd cancel your order and jump on this one. The price is right, the bass is new, Al is a good guy too. I found out about this a couple of days ago. I had just purchased one new that morning, otherwise, I'd be buying Al's.

On May 15th I traded-in a bass to get a Fender Deluxe 5 string in ash. I was told it would arrive in September. Now I find out that it will arrive in November... Maybe I should wait for the 2011 model...

Just received my 2010 American Deluxe 5 today. Olympic White with Rosewood Fretboard. Fender really got this one right. I am very impressed with this bass. Very well made and the sound is huge.

I really didn't have to spend much time setting it up out of the case. I did replace the strings with DR High Beams (45-65-85-105-125. I do not like the sound of nickel strings). Made a very slight adjustment to neck/truss rod as there was a bit more relief in the neck than I like. After I was done - WOW! - I knew I had a keeper. Good job Fender!

I ordered my jazz A deluxe V in July and have only just received it, it's been worth the wait though, it's such a fantastic bass

Natural finish on the body, maple neck and fretboard with black inlays and chrome hardware etc, it's a beautiful bass

Yep, I'd like to locate one of those with the Rosewood fretboard. However, doesn't look like they make those with a Rosewood fretboard that I can see: Probably would have to special order.
