Hi, my friend recently gave me this bass and it's from 1967. It has b neck of Precision bass, and Jazz bass body. Is this 100% original or has it been repaired with the new neck? if anyone has any idea bout this, please let me know!

Frankly I see photos of the headstock and the back of the instrument.

But, if you like playing it, that is absolutely the most important thing. Absolutely. I can't really tell what it is from the photos posted but if you like it. Play the heck out of it.

I've got an extra 50 bucks laying around. I'll take it if you're unsure about it.

I'd consider paying shipping.....

The paddle tuners were available in 1967. I have those tuners on my Dec 65 Jazz bass.

The bass could be that old but we would have to take it apart and check the neck, body and pickups for dates.

The odd part is the Precision decal on a Jazz bass neck but this has been done before from the factory and it has been done after market so its hard to verify that as authentic without some sort of documentation from 1967 or when that bass was purchased.

Date codes are also on the pots, but I agree with everybody that if you like the bass, (and who wouldn't?) Play it!
