Is it normal for a jazz bass/ for a road worn?

But when I touch the bridge with my hand, the noise reduce a lot....
What happen to it?

Hi, ck out replies from BrotherDave, there is his site on his signature. Email him, he knows his stuff. He might be able to help you. Sounds like a ground issue. If you bought new, might be able to take to the shop you bought it from. If not, BrotherDave's the man. Good luck.

yes.. the road worn 60's bass aren't shielded so i suggest you take it to an expert or a skilled technician for copper shielding..
