Possibly. But the '62 pickguard uses 11 screws, with the extra hole located just forward of the neck pickup. As well, this pickguard is pre-drilled to allow installation of the chrome cover over the neck pickup.

I don't plan on putting a chrome cover or a thumbrest.. what matters is it can fit the mexican's without changing the control plate.. and without drilling additional holes..
