Hello,
I want to change the potentiometer + knob for fender deluxe jazz bass (MIM)...for medium tone (here is the knob position http://screencast.com/t/MDQ2ZWVmNzQt)
Do you know what is the correct product for this (some links)?

Thanks,

Welcome.

When you say, "medium tone", what do you mean?

There are two different versions of this instrument. There was an upgrade for the 2005 models. Luckily both versions specify Fender part number 0049443000 for this pot. This is a 100K CTS pot with a center detent. You will probably want to order this through a Fender dealer.

If you dealer gives you a problem try Daven Goldenfarb at THE BASS PLACE in Tempe AZ. His email is dave@thebassplace.com or phone 480-423-1161. Very helpful person.

Found one for sale online right here in NC! $8.95 plus shipping. This Fender dealer has a lot of parts listed online. http://www.darrenriley.com/shop/cart.php?m=product_list&c=7
