I have owned the Aerodyne Jbass for about 5 months now. It was my second choice as a bass, I wanted to get the Fender Big Block P Bass, but i wound up getting this instead. It has a fast neck and the pickups are pretty decent. I am able to notice the Precision pick up more than the jazz pickup, th ejazz pickup is cool to have but i generally donthave it up that high. They always work better as a set i have found. Its a really well made bass. I like the look because its simple and original. No dot inlays are cool too. I tossed on some flatwounds just becasue they are a lot more mellow than rounds. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. It is also very light, I think it only weighs about 6 1/2 pounds.

Here's my Non Export Aerodyne I got on Ebay from Japan. Nice Thin neck and it's sounds great not to mention how cool it looks. I think you'll be happy with the Aerodyne.

I took the original bridge off because I kept knocking the intonation and action out and put a Badass II on but that really didn't work so I took the Badass off and put an American Deluxe bridge on it and it's made a world of difference.

8) 8) it's about time people ask about aerodynes. I have a three year old jazz and a year old presision. Both aerodynes. The jazz is my baby. she's very well made with tone and sustain that will blow out windows. I also have american p&j basses. the americans are no better sounding or quality the aerodynes. The aero jazz & p basses sound like a jazz & pbass should. You'l like them.

I really like mine. I have an Aerodyne, and a 24 fret active, and they both have their own distintive voice. After playing 4 or 5 sets though, the Aerodyne's lightweight body starts to give you the reason to love it most.

Does the JDM Aerodyne Jbasses come w/the pg? Or did you add that?

No, that's the import model, he said he owns a Japanese Domestic - non Export Aerodyne from Ebay Japan, that's why I wanted to know if it came with a pg stock.

The answer is yes, it comes with a black pg, colours are black, white red, gunmetal grey as far as I know...

Here is a link http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/?wb_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ishibashi-webshop.jp%2Fshop%2Fc%2Fc15%2F&wb_lp=JAEN&wb_dis=2

I own one in black and its a great bass. Sad thing is that Fender Japan is not allowed to sell officially outside Japan...[/url]

actually i orderered it directly from Japan just a view weeks before Fender USA forced Fender Japan to make the shops to not sell new japanese Fenders outside Japan.

You can still order used ones from the u-box at ishibashi, but they won´t ship new instruments anymore.

In total i own 5 Fender Japan Basses, 2 MIJ and 3 CIJ. they are all very good instruments...
